Lone Ross graduated from School of Physical Therapy, Aarhus in Denmark in 1996 and shortly after immigrated to Canada. She has completed numerous post graduate courses in Manual Therapy, Mulligan techniques, Kinesio taping techniques, Neuromobilization, Craniosacral, Visceral mobilization, Lymph drainage and womens’s health for breast care, incontinence and pelvic pain.
Lone is one of the few therapists in British Columbia operating a real time ultrasound machine, helping patients isolate their core muscles using this tool as a biofeedback for clients to recover after sport injuries or other traumas. She has been involved in research and presented the results both nationally and internationally.
In addition Lone has also been a clinical instructor for UBC Physical therapy students in their final year of studies. She won a Clinical Educator Award for her efforts. As of 2017,
Lone is a Teaching Assistant for The Barral Institute practicing osteopathic techniques.
Lone Ross believes in the holistic approach to treating pain and movement dysfunctions. Her goal in her treatments is to improve the quality of life and regaining independence for her clients.
In her free time Lone enjoys the outdoors such as hiking and snowshoeing/skiing as well as spending time with her family.
