Lorel graduated from Vicars' School of Massage Therapy in 2019, obtaining honors in the 2200-hour massage therapy program. She also has certification in Dynamic Cupping, Event/Sport massage, and Applied Reflexology for Massage Therapy. Other skills include corporate chair massage, geriatric massage, joint play, and passive stretching to improve range of motion and joint flexibility. Lorel is exceptionally skilled at massage for adolescents, particularly young athletes, and the elderly, utilizing her strengths in empathy, warmth, and compassion for these age groups.
Lorel developed a strong understanding of human anatomy, musculoskeletal disorders, and repetitive strain injuries from her experience in athletics as a marathon runner and triathlete, and draws upon her education in Psychology to understand the role of stress on the human body,m incorporating stress-reduction techniques into her treatments.
Lorel believes in a targeted and well-rounded approach to therapy in order to calm the nervous system and facilitate healing.
