Lover of all things related to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum healing, and infant/child development, Lori has acquired a unique set of skills to treat both women and children. With over 20 years of clinical experience and continuing education, including extensive coursework in Women’s Health and Pediatric Pelvic Health, Lori is certified in medical acupuncture, K-Taping for Women’s Health and Pediatrics, Hypopressive Low Pressure Fitness™, and is currently completing her certification as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES). Recognized as a local expert in infant torticollis and plagiocephaly, Lori has also completed specialized training to offer breastfeeding support and mastitis treatment to mothers facing breastfeeding challenges, addressing latch and positioning concerns from the perspective of both mother and infant. She also has unique training to address pelvic floor muscle dysfunction not only for women, but also for children of all ages. Working from a family-centred framework, she can help parents and children resolve day and nighttime urinary incontinence (bedwetting), fecal incontinence (encopresis), and constipation. Lori is very passionate about wanting to help women and children live their best lives, maximizing their function and participation in ALL of their chosen pursuits, whether that be fitness, dance, gymnastics, play, or even sex (which by the way, should never be painful). Outside of the clinic, Lori keeps very busy with her husband and three daughters and enjoys making time for functional fitness and creative pursuits.
