Lotus Massage is owned and operated by Lorna Penner. She is a Registered Massage therapist, in good standing with her association CMMOTA. Her focus is on therapeutic relaxation massage. She believes in the restorative benefits of regular massage. She enjoys combining many different techniques into her treatments, such as Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cupping and recently certified in hot stone. Using some or all of these techniques she is able to provide a relaxing yet therapeutic treatment every time. Lorna is very attentive and listens to clients individual needs and desired outcomes for each session, and will work with client(s) for their desired outcome.
When Lorna is not massaging she enjoys spending time with her family. She is a wife, mother, Nana and also a fur mama to her dog Missy and cat Valka.
Lorna has been actively studying Shamanic energy medicine for the past 3 years and has recently returned from a transformative retreat in Peru where she worked closely with Master Shamans for 10 days. Her belief that everything is energy and it can be transformed and incorporated into healing has been one of the biggest gifts. Lorna is a full Mesa carrier which is an honor she holds with great respect and reverence.
