AjouterLuisa is a lifelong student of health and wellness. She strongly believes in finding the root cause of any dysfunction and treating the body as a whole, rather than simply the symptom. She trusts in the body’s ability to self-regulate and self-heal. Her curiosity and drive for understanding and healing the mind and body propelled her to start a career as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). After obtaining two degrees in Massage Therapy from schools in Russia and Canada, Luisa has worked as a licensed RMT for the past 14 years. Looking to continue growing her passion in holistic healing, she completed a five-year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2019. In 2020, she wrote her thesis and successfully earned a diploma in Osteopathy Manual Practice, as well as in the Science of Osteopathy.

To complement her training, Luisa has taken numerous courses in advanced paediatrics, myofascial release, endocranial spasms, brain intestinal axis, concussions, biodynamics, women’s health dysfunctions, and palpation fields, among others. She has done extensive work with pregnant women, babies, and children by helping with torticollis, plagiocephaly, reflux issues and sucking difficulties. She has been praised in her work with patients who had gastro-intestinal tract disorders and suffered from constipation, acid reflux, and ptosis. Additionally, she has treated other problems, such as TMJ, strains, sprains, and chronic and acute problems. Luisa regularly attends scholarly symposiums and workshops to continue learning and updating her work.

This innovative approach helps minimize tissue damage and break down adhesions that form beneath a cesarean (c-section) scar. By easing fascial tightness, the scar often becomes less raised, more flexible, and far more comfortable. Through the use of gentle microcurrent therapy, hands-on techniques, and targeted exercises, C-section scar release can support improved healing, movement, and overall well-being. For cesarean scars, sessions should be booked no earlier than 6 weeks postpartum. Microcurrent therapy is not suitable during pregnancy, for individuals with pacemakers, or when treating areas with active cancer or tumours.
