Luke was born in Ripon, Quebec, and raised in rural Prince Edward Island, Having envisioned a path in health and musical arts from a young age, he set about melding and moulding these two unique proficiencies as a young child and teenager.
His journey into healing arts began early. Walking on his parents’ backs regularly, he helped manage their aches and pains. As a teenager, he shared foot and shoulder massages with those near and dear. Experiencing his gift for healing touch, family and friends encouraged Luke to pursue professional training for Massage Therapy. In 1995, Luke moved to Toronto and enrolled in Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. In 1997 he graduated and became a Registered Massage Therapist. In 1998 he began working at Rosedale Chiropractic and Physiotherapy Clinic, a busy multi-disciplinary treatment facility near Sherbourne and Bloor Street East. Over the next 5 years, Luke gained invaluable experience helping many clients recover from repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, autoimmune diseases, complex fractures, cancer, and paralyzation, among many other conditions. In this environment, he thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to see thousands of clients and collaborate with a plethora of health care professionals spanning many disciplines. Luke feels fortunate to maintain many of these connections today. In 2003 Luke decided to enter private practice, and hasn’t looked back since.
Through more than 2 decades of practice, Luke has attended numerous workshops, courses, seminars and learning initiatives. Additionally he has received bodywork regularly. Both of these learning approaches, as well as his art as a musician, singer and songwriter, continue to inspire and inform his practice of massage therapy. In addition to his massage therapy training at Sutherland-Chan, Luke has studied Traditional Thai Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Therapeutic Touch, Passive Stretch Massage, Visceral Manipulation, Hot Stone Massage, and Tibetan Accupressure Massage.

This initial appointment will allow us time to discuss your surgical case history, do a thorough assessment, and still have time for hands-on treatment, home-care instructions and treatment plan. Book this appointment if you've gone through any kind of breast cancer surgery, which may include (but not limited to): mastectomy, lumpectomy, expanders, breast reconstruction, DIEP flap, TRAM flap, Lats flap and more.
This initial appointment for elective (e.g. augmentation/reduction) or medically indicated breast/chest surgeries.allows time to discuss your surgical case history, complete a thorough assessment, and provide hands-on treatment. You’ll also receive home-care instructions and a treatment plan to support your recovery. This session supports healing after elective and medically indicated breast or chest surgeries such as augmentations, lifts, implant removal, and reductions. Male chest surgeries, including gynecomastia treatment and chest implants, are also welcome.
