Lynn has over 30 years experience as a physiotherapist and has been a dedicated associate of the clinic since 2005. After graduating in 1994 from Queen’s University she expanded her experiences down the Bayou in Louisiana and New Orleans. She worked in a variety of healthcare settings including acute, short and long term care hospitals, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes, home health, outpatient and private clinics. Finally settling down to start a family here in Fernie, Lynn has been focusing her work on orthopaedics, sports injuries, and Occupational Rehabilitation. Incorporating her experiences with manual therapies and dry needling, she strives to get her patients back to enjoying their Fernie lifestyles.

What is Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS)? Gunn IMS is a treatment using dry needles to reduce muscle pain, joint pain and other types of body pain. Dry needles are very fine solid needles similar to acupuncture needles that do not inject a substance. The dry needles are inserted into muscles that are not functioning properly. Unless specifically looking for this type of needling treatment, it is recommended you book for a regular appointment and discuss your treatment options with your physiotherapist.
