**Meet Madalina (or Mady for short)!**
Madalina completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. She has been such an asset to the team, as she is able to combine her experience working as a community OT in disability and mental health, with her background and work in early childhood education. Madalina's OT skillset has grown her passion of enabling kiddos to grow and thrive. She takes a holistic, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach in her practice and is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and mental health. Outside of work, Madalina is an avid fantasy reader who loves to travel and practice her creativity through sewing, painting, and crafts.

A comprehensive full 60-min session with the therapist, you and your child. Expect a thorough assessment and treatment to occur on this day. We encourage open dialogue with the therapist, who will be sharing their findings and observations as they go.
These are ongoing and in-person sessions with one of our Occupational Therapists. Each session is a "clinical hour," with 50 mins being direct treatment time, and 10 mins reserved for answering your questions, making recommendations and wrapping up. During each session, your therapist will be providing highly skilled and personalized therapy, all while having fun with your kiddo! At The Hive, parental input and participation is both encouraged and welcomed. Note: If this is your first time booking, please book an Initial Occupational Assessment.
These are ongoing and in-person OT sessions with one of our amazing Occupational Therapists. During each 45 min session, your therapist will be providing highly skilled and personalized therapy, all while having fun with your kiddo! If this is your first time booking, please book an Initial OT Assessment visit.
These sessions are a great way to continue with your therapy goals, while in the safety and comfort of your own home! Virtual Occupational Therapy is just like a regular OT session, except our expert therapists will engage your kiddo via the screen, have online materials ready to go, and will make use of what you have at home. They always ensure you're involved along the way!
