Balance System Acupuncture is a modern, results-focused approach within Traditional Chinese Medicine that aims to quickly relieve pain and restore functional balance in the body.
Rather than treating the area of discomfort directly, this method selects acupuncture points based on meridian relationships throughout the body. This can create rapid shifts in circulation, muscle tension, nervous system regulation, and overall function.
The system is rooted in classical meridian theory and was developed and popularized through the work of Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan and Dr. Chao Chen, among others. It has since been taught and carried forward by many experienced practitioners and educators, including Sonia F. Tan, from whom Madeline has had the benefit of receiving direct education and training. Treatments are precise and efficient, often producing noticeable changes within a single session.
Balance System Acupuncture can support a wide range of concerns, including:
Musculoskeletal pain and injuries
Headaches and migraines
Stress and emotional balance
Digestive concerns
Hormonal imbalances
Chronic conditions and ongoing pain patterns
This approach is especially valued for its ability to address both acute symptoms and underlying energetic imbalances at the same time.
