Madison is an Expressive Arts Therapist and Qualifying Psychotherapist who works primarily with children and individuals with varying cognitive and physical disabilities and neurodiversity.
Madison works both 1:1 and in group settings, supporting individuals with self-expression, confidence, psychoeducation, and regulation. Her therapeutic method, the Expressive Arts, is a playful, somatic, sensory-rich, and creative approach to therapy. Madison's work utilizes a wide array of artistic mediums: visual arts, movement, theatre, puppetry, and music. She is keen to incorporate the client's interests into therapeutic strategies, is quick to adapt to the client's needs, and maintains a client-centered, trauma-informed approach. Madison has also worked as an art teacher, PSW, and Education Assistant. Madison places great emphasis on accessibility in the therapeutic space and believes that joy, accessed through creative expression and play, is a primary tool for healing.
