Mahnaz is a graduate of the National Academy of Osteopathy and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from Iran. With over 10 years’ experience as a midwife, she has an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and how to manage pain. Her knowledge, empathy and kindness have helped her to gain a good reputation in her previous career. She has worked alongside numerous women who are suffering from the pain of childbirth, and she knows how to prepare them to tolerate the pain.
Since immigrating to Canada, she had chosen to expand her knowledge and skills by pursing new challenges. She believes that there is nothing worse than pain in the world, and relieving pain can make a difference in people’s life.
Osteopathic treatment is a holistic therapy; practitioners see the body as a unit and don’t simply focus on the problematic area. Rather, they try to find the root cause of pain because they know that when one part of the body doesn’t work properly it will affect all parts of the body. Structure and function are interrelated, meaning that when the structure of the body is not aligned or correct, the body is not able to function properly. Osteopaths believe that body has the ability to heal itself when it is functioning properly.
