I offer my acupuncture studio in Victoria BC as a place for you to cultivate wellness and reconnect with your body's innate healing capacity. I am passionate about helping those struggling with hormonal, reproductive and pregnancy issues and offer a holistic and complementary approach to achieving mental wellness, hormonal balance, menstrual regulation and healthy pregnancies.
I am a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia and am a member of the Obsetrical Acupuncture Association. I completed my training at the International College for Traditional Chinese Medicine Vancouver and Pacific Rim College and have specialized training in Acupuncture for Pregnancy, Labour and Postpartum, Women's Health, Fertility and Paediatric Acupuncture. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a focus in Mental Health. When I am not Malakai the Acupuncturist, you can find me being mom to three wonderfully wild children, adventuring on our beautiful island and attempting to create a small farm out of my backyard.

Malakai will go through a full intake and health history as well as give you your first acupuncture treatment.

Initial consult not required for cervical ripening. Recommended to have three cervical ripening acupuncture treatments. One 60 min cervical ripening treatment per week for three weeks beginning at 37 weeks gestation to help prepare your body for labour. Malakai will also go over acupressure points for labour and postpartum care information.

Acupuncture session for those who have already had an initial consult and treatment.

Postpartum visit in your home. Malakai can help with c-section recovery & scar treatment, mother warming moxibustion (at least 3 days postpartum), baby blues, insufficient lactation, mastitis & clogged ducts, postpartum urinary incontinence, constipation, fatigue & depletion and emotional support post birth. Malakai will stay with you throughout the treatment and you are welcome to have your baby with you or on you breastfeeding during treatment. Malakai will also be available to care for your baby while you rest during treatment or you may have another support person attend to baby while you rest.
