Marina is a Physiotherapist Resident with a background in clinical care and pilates. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in Brazil followed by a post-graduate specialization residency in children’s health. She has been working for over 10 years in a variety of healthcare settings like clinics, hospital and community treating a wide variety of neurological conditions, respiratory illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries.
Additionally, she has earned certifications in Pilates (Stott Pilates® and Voll Pilates Group), Clinical Pilates, Cervical and Thoracic Spine (APTEI), Temporo-Mandibular Disorders -TMD-(APTEI), Level 2 Bone Fit™training, Soft Tissue Release and the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) program level 1.
She has particular interest in blending pilates and movement rehabilitation, incorporating her unique combined skill-set in a patient-centric approach with personalized attention and compassion to develop a treatment plan that best aligns with their rehabilitation goals and empower them to return to activities they value.
Marina is fluent in English and Portuguese.
