Mary is a Registered Physiotherapist with a focus and passion for women’s health, specifically prenatal and postpartum care. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy and started her career in acute care on the Burn Unit at Vancouver General Hospital. She also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
Mary has always been fascinated with how the body moves and heals. Her passion to promote health and wellness has led her to pursue advanced course work in pelvic health, chronic pain, vestibular, and pediatric physical therapy.
Growing up in northern Ontario, Mary fell in love with the outdoors and athletics. She has competed at a varsity and national level in cross-country running and skiing. Mary also has experience coaching cross-country skiing and running in the Vernon area.
Mary believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Outside of work you can find her exploring and enjoying the outdoors with her young family.
