Mary McBrien is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), earning an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture from Georgian College. Through Traditional Chinese Medicine, she offers services including acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha (skin scraping), Tui Na (massage and manipulation of acupuncture points and meridians), plum blossom needling, acupressure and auricular acupuncture.
Mary has also trained extensively in Eden Energy Medicine (EEM) and is a Certified EEM Clinical Practitioner 2017. Working with the body’s subtle energies, EEM can help to: relieve pain, strengthen the immune system, relieve stress and anxiety, boost vitality and stamina, improve digestion, relieve allergies, manage weight and sharpen the mind.
Mary focuses on the energetic component of wellness, believing that strengthening and balancing one’s energies is a fundamental component to healing, as well as building and maintaining wellness.
Mary enjoys walking, hiking, Tai Chi and Qi Gong with a daily meditative and energy routine practice. Energetic fitness, self-healing and a spiritual practice are an essential part of Mary’s daily life and wellness goals.
