As a young adult, I had a realization that changed the course of my life: helping others is what gives my life meaning. What began with arts-based social work eventually led me to massage therapy, where I found a meaningful way to put that purpose into practice.
Born in Argentina and later settling in Canada, I began studying Shiatsu, a Japanese form of acupressure massage, in Toronto in 2003 and have continued learning ever since. I studied extensively with Tetsuro Saito, regarded as the father of Shiatsu in Canada, as well as with internationally respected Shiatsu master Akinobu Kishi. Through these teachers, I was fortunate to learn within a lineage that traces directly back to the pioneers of Shiatsu.
Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in 2015, I have been practicing in Hamilton, helping people find relief from pain and improve their overall well-being through the art and science of massage therapy.
More than twenty years into this work, I remain deeply grateful to be doing something that doesn't feel like a job rather more like a calling.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cycling, yoga, cooking, music, the arts, and volunteering in my community including at my son's school.

Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with massage gel, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply.
