Matt is a licensed Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in Ontario with over 8 years of
experience in health and wellness. He attended the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy,
where he received his Masters Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc) after
completing 4200 hours of curriculum, including 1500 hours of supervised hands-on lab
and clinical experience. He is now a professional member of the Ontario Osteopathic
Association (OOA).
Prior to Osteopathy, Matt graduated from the Western University, where he received an
Honours Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Kinesiology. As a Registered
Kinesiologist, Matt worked with many complex clients including clients from Veterans
Affairs Canada, individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, injury rehabilitation,
athletic training, and general strength and conditioning.
Matt uses his background in Osteopathy, to create a treatment plan that is individualized
for each patient. He uses hands-on manual therapy, which emphasizes the relationship
between the structure and function of the human body. Matt facilitates the movement
and motion of the joints and muscles through non-invasive manual therapy, helping
strengthen the framework and promote health in the body.
Matt will perform an assessment and treatment of the individual’s whole body, to find the
root cause of the patient’s pain. An osteopathic manual treatment will help you relieve
pain, improve your mobility, relieve stress, and boost immunity, all through the holistic
approach of treating the root cause and not just the symptoms. This is beneficial for
musculoskeletal issues, spinal health, traumatic injuries, digestive issues, reproductive
issues, respiratory problems, headaches and migraines, and many more.
Also, Matt uses his background as a Registered Kinesiologist to help clients reach their
goals safely and effectively. He creates individualized training plans that help clients
reduce their pain, gain strength, mobility, independence, and achieve their fitness goals.
In his free time, Matt enjoys staying active by strength training, running, biking, and
playing hockey, golf and ultimate frisbee. Matt loves to spend time at his cottage, spend
time with his family and friends, and anything to do with being outdoors.

Using a gentle principles based approach to manual therapy intra-oral infant treatment can be incredibly beneficial if your baby is experiencing difficulty latching, increased spit up, loud breathing/snoring or has been diagnosed with oral ties. Intra-oral treatments will include full body assessment and treatment accompanied by intra-oral work to ensure a holistic approach to your baby’s care. It can be very beneficial pre and post op for oral ties, improve baby’s latch and mom’s comfort level while feeding, decrease spit up and acid reflex and improve breathing patterns. For ages 0-18m.
