Matteo Rodrigues is a newly licensed physiotherapist with a strong foundation in evidence-based care and a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier. A recent graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University, Matteo brings a diverse clinical background and a fresh, energetic approach to patient-centred rehabilitation.
His training spans acute medical, neuro-pediatric, musculoskeletal outpatient, community, and cardiopulmonary rehab settings, giving him a well-rounded perspective on recovery across all ages and abilities. Matteo’s hands-on experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant during his studies helped him hone his ability to guide patients through personalized exercise programs and track their progress with care and precision.
Matteo also brings elite-level insight from his time working with Sogndal Fotball Club’s first team in Norway, where he supported professional athletes with injury prevention, rehab, and return-to-play strategies.
Outside the clinic, Matteo lives what he teaches. He’s an avid soccer player, skier, and mountain biker, and his love of movement fuels his commitment to helping others rediscover theirs. With a collaborative spirit and a drive to keep learning, Matteo is excited to grow within the ProActive team and contribute to the clinic’s culture of fun, healing, and excellence.
