Maya is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a strong academic background and a deep passion for helping individuals achieve their optimal physical health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master’s of Science degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, as well as a Master’s of Science degree in Muscle Physiology with a focus on diabetes from York University.
With experience working with diverse populations across various conditions, Maya takes a client-centered, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and promoting self-efficacy, ensuring that each individual feels confident in managing their recovery and overall well-being.
Driven by a love for sports and exercise, Maya integrates her expertise in movement science and physiology to develop personalized treatment plans that support injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. Her collaborative approach fosters a supportive environment where clients feel motivated and engaged in their care.
