_The most rewarding aspect of my work is the opportunity to witness and support clients’ resilience as they work toward the goals that matter most to them. I feel privileged to listen to their stories and be entrusted with their care_.
Hello, my name is Megan! Over the past ten years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, including those with spinal cord injuries, strokes, brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders. I tailor my approach to each client, using a combination of manual therapy, exercise, education, and self-management strategies.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University and later completed my Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2013. Driven by a passion to understand human anatomy and movement on a deeper level, I went on to complete a Master’s in Anatomical Sciences at Queen’s University in 2019. I now work as a Professor at Humber College, sharing both my clinical experience and my belief in client-centered care with future health professionals.
I have received additional certifications, including Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia, Advanced Bobath Therapy, and Scalp Acupuncture for Neurological Conditions. I am also a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider through McMaster University.
I believe that active listening is an essential part of the therapeutic partnership and recognize that my clients know their bodies best. I am here to understand them and use my clinical experience to empower individuals and their families during the recovery process.
When I’m not at work, I’m busy chasing my two young children, who constantly remind me that curiosity is endless, and laughter is my best coping strategy!

You will receive an initial assessment by one of our physiotherapists. They will ask about your health history and evaluate your physical condition. This includes an analysis of your posture, movement patterns, strength, range of motion, balance, sensation, and functional activities. The physiotherapist will examine any documents, images, and reports that you have provided. From this information and assessment, your physiotherapist will design an individualized treatment program specifically for you to help achieve your goals. The assessment typically takes over 1 hour and at the end your physiotherapist will provide you with a brief overview of findings and recommendations. Following the assessment, you will receive a summary report by email with a more detailed analysis and a recommended treatment plan. This is included in the assessment cost.
After the initial visit, subsequent treatment sessions will include ongoing assessment and treatment of problems identified to help you achieve your goals. We will evaluate progress through outcome measurement and may include provision of a home exercise program . We offer treatments of varying duration depending on your needs, but all will be one-on-one with your physiotherapist.
