Meindert graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Kinesiology, specialising in Active Rehabilitation, and is currently completing his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. He is passionate about helping people move better, recover from injury, and achieve their rehabilitation and performance goals.
With more than five years of experience as a Kinesiologist, Meindert has worked with individuals at every stage of their rehabilitation and fitness journey. He believes every patient deserves a personalised approach and works collaboratively to develop treatment plans that build confidence, restore function, and help people return to the activities that matter most to them.
Outside the clinic, Meindert has been involved with Special Olympics BC for many years, coaching soccer and basketball while giving back to his community through sport. As an avid endurance athlete, he enjoys mountain biking, trail running, and training for triathlons. Having completed several ultramarathons, he understands firsthand the physical and mental commitment required to train, compete, recover from injury, and return to peak performance.
When he's not in the clinic or on the trails, you'll likely find Meindert exploring the Vedder Mountain trail network in search of his next favourite route. If you have a trail recommendation, he'd love to hear it during your visit!
