Meiying Chen is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP) in Ontario. She graduated from Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2008 and previously practised as a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor in China. She also teaches at the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Meiying has extensive clinical experience supporting clients with pain, women’s health and fertility concerns, neurological conditions, post-stroke rehabilitation, and general wellness. Based on each client’s individual needs, her treatments may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, Gua Sha, and Tui Na.

If you are a new patient seeking Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments, including acupuncture, this Initial Consultation & Treatment appointment is mandatory and must be booked before any follow-up treatments. During this visit, your registered TCM practitioner will: Review your health history, current symptoms, medications, and lifestyle. Conduct a comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment, including pulse and tongue diagnosis (when appropriate). Explain your diagnosis and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your individual health goals. Provide your first acupuncture treatment during the same appointment, if clinically appropriate. Offer recommendations for herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, lifestyle modifications, or other therapies when indicated. Appointment Duration: Approximately 90 minutes. Please Note: This appointment is required for all first-time patients booking TCM services. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any remaining intake forms if they have not been completed online. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing whenever possible. If you have recent medical reports, imaging, or blood test results relevant to your condition, please bring them to your appointment.
