Melanie is a self proclaimed wandering soul who has experienced a diverse life. From working for a heli ski company in the Canadian Rockies for most of her 20’s to living in the red sand desert of southern Utah working in veterinary medicine and adventure guiding for most of her 30’s. This ultimately lead her curiosity to the beauty that is found on Vancouver Island to see what the next phase of life offers.
She is currently enrolled in the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and will be graduating in August 2023. With over 250 hours of hands on experience provided through the clinic at the college, she has had experience with numerous body conditions such as chronic pain, pregnancy, sports injury, mental health issues, and women's health.
Melanie’s techniques include general Swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy. Her treatments are build on a foundation of relaxation and therapeutic techniques that encourage mind-body integration and awareness. She enjoys holding a safe space for clients that will help lead to healing and body empowerment.
