Meet Melissa!
The clinic is welcoming Melissa Andrews, a registered Physiotherapist. Melissa has worked in Lindsay since graduating from The University of Western Ontario in 2007. She is experienced in assessing and treating orthopedic conditions. Come and see Melissa for conditions such as:
· osteoarthritis
· ankle sprains
· rotator cuff tendinitis
· plantar fasciitis
· low back pain
· after surgery
Melissa‘s special interest includes exercise prescription for hip and knee osteoarthritis, rehabilitating joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs after surgery, and low back pain. She is an advance practice practitioner in the low back pain rapid access program. This triage program advises patients if they meet surgical criteria or are more appropriate for other forms of treatment.

During the initial assessment, the physiotherapist will ask you a series of questions about your condition. Following the history, a detailed exam will be performed to assessment joint movement, range of motion, strength, and other tests as needed. After the exam the physiotherapist will discuss the findings and provide recommendations for treatment.
For clients who require a virtual appointment for Physiotherapy
For clients who have already had an initial physiotherapy assessment. Treatment sessions include the following as needed: manual therapy, exercises, soft tissue techniques, ultrasound, TENS and education.
