In the simplest form, Melissa is passionate about helping people. It gives her the opportunity to add to the training of other athletes. Helping them deal with injuries and chronic pain in order to compete at their best is one of the things that makes her love her job. She enjoys being a part of the daily struggle to improve one's health and well-being and loves being part of her clients athletic lifestyle. Her other love is working with the pre-and post-natal community.
Melissa wants you to move in a complete pain-free range of motion that will help you in your daily activities as well as with your training. Whether you are a competitive athlete, a mom-to-be, or an office worker, she wants to help you be able to live a more active and pain-free life.
Everyone's tolerance to pressure during the treatment is unique and finding the ideal pressure for you is what will give you the greatest benefit. She is very excited to be a part of the Holistic Wellness family, continuing to share and advance her clinical knowledge with an excellent team while serving the Barrhaven and Nepean community with passion.

Athletic massages are for athletes in the community. These are not HW Physiotherapy RMT's. We are merely a host centre. They are Algonquin student's in the RMT program gaining practical placement experience. This massage is free of charge. Overseen by Basil Phillips, RMT Professor.
