Melissa Dunseith, RMT and Reflexologist, has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist for 11 years and Certified Reflexologist for 18 years. She has a deep passion for treating her patients taking their whole health picture and body in mind, not simply the symptoms of the day to help address the root cause. She integrates reflexology with her extensive knowledge of massage therapy techniques to effectively treat patients’ conditions. Having these varied tools in her kit allows her to find flexibility and success in treating patients of all ages and states of health with musculoskeletal pain and tension. Other common conditions Melissa encounters include digestive issues, anxiety, sinus congestion, fertility/reproductive/hormonal struggles, pre and post natal conditions, headaches, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, insomnia, and improved energy levels/stress management.
In her years as a manual practitioner, Melissa has experience treating amateur and professional athletes, terminally ill cancer and HIV-positive patients, children with tight and sore muscles from athletics, poor posture and stress, desk-worker discomforts, anxiety, front line workers suffering from burnout, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia sufferers, new parents, and of course people working from home or others experiencing stresses from pandemic life…all bodies are welcome on her table!
Melissa graduated with Honours from Kikkawa College in 2011 and became a Certified Reflexologist through the Reflexology Association of Canada in 2004. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Psychology Minor from McMaster University (1999) and worked for a few years as a Kinesiologist in a Toronto physiotherapy clinic where she realized her desire to further expand her integrative healthcare skills.
Melissa has completed all levels of study of Reiki (Kenya and Canada) earning the designation of Reiki Master. She is also an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor after completing two and a half years of study of Ayurvedic Medicine between the California College of Ayurveda and the Centre for Ayurveda and Indian Systems of Healing (CAISH) in Toronto. In the near future, she would like to continue her studies to help patients with cupping, acupuncture and psychotherapy for psycho-somatic work.
Melissa is an avid Ultimate frisbee competitor, participating at the provincial and national levels in tournaments throughout North America and internationally including World Championship in Ireland this past July. She loves to run, play trivia with friends, walk her very active Aussie Shepherd, watch as many Toronto Raptors games as possible, enjoy live music, and travel the world!

This therapeutic style is an integrative, nervous system-focused approach to manual therapy. It moves beyond localized pain relief to address how stress and trauma are held in the body. The practice emphasizes co-regulation, where the therapist uses their own calm presence and targeted touch to help guide the client's nervous system toward a state of safety. The work combines hands-on "tissue issue" strategies with client education, with the core goal of teaching self-regulation. The therapist acts as a guide, helping clients decode physical symptoms, build a personalized toolkit for managing their stress and pain responses, and ultimately reclaim their innate capacity for healing and resilience.

105 minutes is an incredible amount of time to float in and out of consciousness on the table, while your physical discomforts are being alleviated. This amount of time gives your treatment more time for assessment, home care or hands on techniques. Make sure to have an empty bladder and a de-caffeinated mind.

A great length for a tune-up, strictly assessment and home care, one specific complaint, when resources are tight or when you can only get away for a moment.

We suggest choosing one area of main focus and including either upper or lower body focus. Full body treatments can be performed safely in this treatment length, though time spent on each region won't be as thorough.

A great length of treatment to focus on one primary area with enough time to address the rest of your body's aches. We recommend spending as much time on head, neck and shoulders for ultimate nervous system unwinding!

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle technique that has been proven to assist with lymph flow and drainage of various tissues and lymph pathways in the body. The main goal is to encourage better lymph flow and clearance in order to prevent stagnation and support immune response via the lymphatic system. No oil is used in this type of massage and the pressure is very light (Note: this is different from Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, which is a different style of treatment). The skin is alternatingly stretched and released, creating a pump-like effect that encourages lymph flow and clearance. The rhythmic nature of movements also encourages relaxation through a calming effect on the nervous system and can have a generally pain-reducing effect. MLD is often used for various types of swelling including lymphedema, a condition of lymphatic dysfunction for which CDT (combined decongestive therapy) - a combination of MLD and bandaging - is the golden standard. MLD is often used for many types of post-surgical swelling (top surgery, mastectomies, plastic surgeries, hip and knee replacements, and more) as well as swelling from acute injuries such as sprains and strains. It can be helpful for a variety of conditions including anxiety, bloating, acne, long COVID, osteoarthritis, whiplash, concussion syndromes, stress migraines, contusions/bruising and more. A pre-screening is required prior to your first MLD session to assess for any contraindications to this treatment.

A great length for a tune-up, strictly assessment and home care, one specific complaint, when resources are tight or when you can only get away for a moment. Cupping involves the creation of a vacuum over areas of tension using sterilized silicone, plastic, or glass cups, causing suction of the skin, fascia and muscles into the cup. It is used to help soften long-standing, stubborn muscle tension, and to improve circulation in restricted areas. Many people feel painful tight areas and scar tissue and other adhesions respond well to cupping treatment, and it can also be used to treat immune and respiratory issues.
