Melissa completed an advanced massage therapy diploma at Mohawk College with honours and is a Hamilton grown RMT. Her time in school gave her extensive knowledge in Swedish Massage, trigger point therapy and remedial exercise. Playing recreational sports, she always had a fascination with anatomy. She has had experience treating many different populations from CFL football players, geriatrics, hospice residents and retirees. Melissa offers a nurturing approach to her treatments, especially when treating clients with repetitive strain injuries, arthritis and other chronic pain conditions. She is cupping certified and has taken additional continuing education to have a more in depth understanding of TMJ dysfunction.
