Michaela completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto after obtaining her Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology with a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity from Queen’s University. Michaela has experience working as a personal support worker with paediatric clients with disabilities such as autism and cerebral palsy, as a physical activity coach, and as an Inclusion Specialist in a recreation setting. She has worked in a variety of settings with a paediatric population and has completed OT placements at the Hospital for Sick Children, the YMCA Academy, and Paediatric Physiotherapy Associates. Michaela has a passion for enabling children to participate in meaningful activities and overcome barriers to achieve their goals! In her free time, Michaela enjoys spending time outside with family and friends and her dog, Shiloh. She also enjoys playing sports and listening to music (especially Taylor Swift)! Michaela is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She provides home visits in Scarborough and Markham and clinic visits at both Variety Village and the Abilities Centre.

Dates: Tuesdays – August 4, 11, 18, and 25 at 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Cost: $1,120 ($280 per session which includes 2 hours of occupational therapy services in a small-group setting) Funding: OAP eligible. and facilitated by Michaela Harper, OT Reg. (Ont.) and Sydney Mitton, OT Reg. (Ont.) This small-group program is designed to support individuals who identify as neurodivergent (ASD Level 1, ADHD) and/or gifted, Spaces are limited to support individualized learning and meaningful social engagement.
