Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses specific massage techniques with slow movements, specific direction and very light pressure to assist our body to refresh and rejuvenate its fluid. It is not a muscular massage. It encourages the lymphatic system to absorb and transport lymph more effectively, as it works as a waste disposal unit, transporting toxins, bacteria, excess fluid and metabolic wastes produced by our cells, out of our bodies and boosting our immune system.
