As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Mike is extremely sensitive to sexuality and gender and the bioipsychosocial challenges that people from minorities face. This informs his practice and you can be sure of having your holistic needs met in a sensitive and caring way.
With over 20 years or nursing experience in England and Canada, he has worked in a wide range of clinical settings including home care, surgical care, emergency medicine and trauma, has a specialist advanced degree in Tissue Viability and has completed training as a nurse specialised in wound ostomy and continence and advanced foot care. He has completed advanced medical aesthetic training and can employ a wide range of techniques to improve both the health and appearance of your skin. He has also completed training in medical/western acupuncture.
As a RMT he has orthopaedic assessment skills that sit alongside his nursing background to allow him to undertake assessments of musculoskeletal and neurological symptoms. He can then target a wide range of manual therapies to help improve function and help to reduce symptoms of tension, neuropathy, mobility restriction and psychological stress.
