Mike graduated from the University of Alberta in 1990 with distinction in Physiotherapy. Since then he has taken numerous post graduate courses to advance his knowledge and skill level. Highlights of his post graduate education include achieving his PART A & B designations in 1999. This is the highest post-graduate level available to physiotherapists through the Orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Passing this level allows Mike to be a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists. Mike is also a certified Gunn IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) Practitioner.

Mike continues to teach and mentor physiotherapists in their post-graduate education and has taught at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. In addition, Mike was a member of the Wellness and Safety team and a Physiotherapy Educator within the Vancouver Island Health Authority. Mike has worked with a variety of patients over the past 30+ years from elite runners, rowers, golfers to avid gardeners.
