AjouterMona Boyle is a bilingual registered nurse with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Ottawa specializing in the sideline assessment and management of concussions in amateur sports. Mona brings over a decade of clinical nursing in acute care (medical, surgical), home care (wounds, palliative care, care coordination), and education. As a life-long learner, Mona also holds certifications of Advanced Nursing Foot Care including ToeFX (fungal nail treatment), LEAP Core (palliative), LEADS Inspired Leadership, as well as Gentle Persuasion Approach (dementia), among others. She has worked in both urban and rural settings across Canada.

Mona specializes in foot care for the aging population where she provides lower limb assessments, diabetic foot care, callous and corn removal, thickened toenail care and fungal nail treatments. She ensures safe client care by using fully reprocessed and sterilized tools according to Ontario Public Health standards. Mona adopts a holistic approach to care emphasizing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of her clients. This appointment requires the initial assessment and medical pedicure. ToeFX treatment is a Canadian-developed photo-disinfection therapy that uses a unique formula (blue photosensitizes) and red LED light (at a specific wavelength). This includes nursing assessment, consultation, and treatment. You will work together with your Registered Nurse to develop a treatment plan. This may include nail care (trim, file, buff and cuticle work), corn and/or callus removal, or diabetics care, among others. You will also receive moisturizer and hot towel treatment. Suitable for construction trades, advanced diabetic patients.
This includes assessment, consultation, and treatment. You will work together with your Certified Master Pedicurist to develop a treatment plan. This may include nail care (trim, file, buff and cuticle work), corn and/or callus removal, or diabetics care, among others. You will also receive foot soak, gentle massage, moisturizer and hot towel treatment. Suitable for construction trades, advanced diabetic patients.
Routine care is the maintenance part of your MUST HAVE HAD INITIAL FOOTCARE ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PRIOR TO BOOKING THIS TREATMENT. Medical foot care and is recommended at 6-8 week intervals. This may include nail and skin care, corn and callus care, cracked heels and/or other care needs. The treatment plan includes moisturizer and hot towel treatment. This treatment is for clients that have received routine foot care in the past 3 months. Required additional time may be charged at a rate $25 for 15 minutes
