Monika LeBouthillier is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ottawa and provides services in both English and French.
Monika works with children and families to support participation and independence in everyday activities. Her areas of practice include sensory processing and regulation, emotional regulation, feeding, fine motor and gross motor skill development, self-care skills (activities of daily living), handwriting, visual-motor integration, and executive functioning. She has experience supporting children with a variety of developmental, sensory, and neurodiverse profiles.
Monika takes a collaborative, family-centered approach to care and strives to create engaging, meaningful interventions tailored to each child's unique strengths and goals. She is committed to providing evidence-informed services that promote confidence, skill development, and successful participation at home, school, and in the community.

Please book this if you have already had an initial assessment with our Vitality OT therapist. This session includes 50 minutes of 1:1 therapy and 10 minutes of treatment planning and documentation.

This session is to be booked a week after the in person Part A: Initial Assessment with the Occupational Therapist. This session is where the Occupational Therapist reviews the findings and treatment plan after the assessment. Please book this in if you already have the Part A: Initial Assessment booked in.

Your first appointment is a comprehensive assessment where your occupational therapist evaluates your child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development using standardized and informal methods. Depending on your child's age and interests, this may involve play-based activities, though your therapist is continuously observing and adjusting throughout. Following the assessment, we'll create an individualized treatment plan with clear goals for future sessions.
