Morven is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia. She has a passion for helping people understand the deeper patterns that shape health, resilience, and chronic illness. She graduated *magna cum laude* with a Diploma of Acupuncture from Pacific Rim College and prior to discovering Chinese Medicine, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Nutrition, giving her a strong foundation in health sciences.
Morven has a special interest in supporting people living with *complex chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, odd mysterious symptoms, digestive issues, skin issues, hormonal imbalances, and fertility challenges.* Many of her patients have spent years looking for answers or managing symptoms without ever feeling that the underlying cause has been understood.
Her approach integrates the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern understandings of the nervous system, fascia, symptom biology, and somatic healing. Through detailed case-taking, compassionate inquiry, fascial assessment, and palpatory acupuncture, Morven works to identify the patterns contributing to illness while also providing symptom relief. Every treatment is designed to meet the body where it is while encouraging its innate capacity to adapt, regulate, and heal.
Recognizing that unresolved stress, trauma, and emotional patterns can influence every part of the body through the nervous system and Qi —or “vital energy” flow through the body. Morven creates treatments that support both physiological and emotional healing. Her calm, trauma-informed approach provides a safe space for patients to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and develop a deeper awareness of the relationship between their symptoms, emotions, and lived experiences.
In addition to TCM acupuncture, Morven incorporates palpatory and myofascial acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese Therapeutic Massage), Fire Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxa / Heat Therapy, and gentle fascial techniques to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve the flow of Qi throughout the body. When appropriate, she also offers guidance in TCM and ancestral nutrition, natural remedies, circadian rhythm, movement, and sustainable lifestyle practices that support long-term healing beyond the treatment room.
Morven believes healing is more than the absence of symptoms. It is the restoration of vitality, resilience, and the body's ability to respond to life's challenges with greater ease. Her practice is especially suited to thoughtful, curious individuals seeking a comprehensive, root-cause approach to healing—people who are ready to understand not only what is happening in their body, but why.
*You may book an Acupuncture treatment which is comprehensive or a Chinese Massage and Fire Cupping treatment which focuses on the somatic release with no insertion of needles.*
