Hi, I am Amit Kumar. I was born and raised in India and completed my Bachelor’s degree of Physiotherapy in 2009. I have over 10 years of clinical experience working as a physiotherapist at variety of clinical settings in Saskatchewan and Alberta. It ranges from private practices to smaller health centres to bigger hospitals and also worked with all age groups. My areas of speciality are musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, vestibular and concussion management.
I am trained in variety of physiotherapy treatment techniques like Dry-needling, spinal manipulation and K-taping. I ensure that my treatment plans are very much customized for every client using the suitable physiotherapy techniques. I prefer to empower my clients so that they can actively participate in the goal setting and recovery planning.
When I am not working, you can find me working out at the gym or watching a series on Netflix.
