Desmond pursued Chiropody as his second career, combining his passion for foot care, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and soft tissue surgery with a strong background in patient care. His previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist in critical care has provided him with exceptional communication and clinical reasoning allowing him to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to the patients he treats.
Desmond has experience in assessing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions and is committed to providing personalized treatment plans that help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy. He stays current with the latest advancements in chiropody to ensure his patients benefit from modern, effective treatment approaches.
Outside of the clinic, Desmond enjoys staying active at the gym, dancing, and traveling.

We offer a comprehensive running gait and foot assessment in addition of the consultation. This service is ideal for: Runners managing or recovering from repetitive stress or low-grade foot and ankle injuries. ( Low pain scale and still able to run). Those who want guidance on proper footwear selection or individuals wondering if an orthotic may be beneficial based on assessment. Runners looking to improve comfort, form, and efficiency Using real-time video feedback and quantitative data, we assess factors such as: Foot strike and pronation Hip drop and knee alignment Stride pattern and overstriding tendencies
Most Footcare follow ups can be treated in a 15–20 minute appointment. This is perfect for: Patients with one or two minor foot concerns. Book a 30-minute appointment if you have: Multiple issues at once (e.g., thick heel callouses plus nail concerns) Feet that haven’t been treated in a while Or needing more time for a foot pain follow up for manual therapy and/ or exercises.
Book this if: Choose this option if you need a longer session for your foot or lower-limb care. A 30-minute visit allows extra time for: More hands-on soft tissue work (for tightness, plantar fascia, or muscle tension) Exercise review or progression for ongoing rehab plans Comprehensive footcare when there is heavier callus build-up, corns, or multiple nail concerns that require more than 15–20 minutes
This appointment is designed for existing patients with one simple concern only. Shockwave Therapy (also known as Radial or Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy) is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. During your session, your clinician will apply a handheld device that delivers short bursts of sound waves to the treatment area to help reduce pain, improve circulation, and promote tissue healing. When Not to Book Shockwave Therapy (Contraindications) Please do not book this treatment or discuss with your clinician first if any of the following apply to you: You are pregnant You have cancer or a tumor in the area being treated You have an open wound, skin infection, or ulcer near the area You have a pacemaker or implanted medical device near the treatment area You are on high-dose blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder You had a cortisone injection in the area within the last 4–6 weeks You have metal implants directly at the treatment site
