A meeting with Canadian Certified Pedorthist. Evan Barks. During an assessment he will: - speak to you about what is giving you trouble - take a brief medical history - take a closer look at your feet and how the joints are functioning - observe how you stand and walk - examine your footwear From there Evan will explain all of his findings and recommend possible treatments which can include: - custom orthotics - footwear recommendations/modifications - compression garments - lower limb bracing The function and practicalities of each treatment will be discussed and Evan will answer any questions you have. Casts, measurements, and scans may be taken if moving forward with custom orthotics, compression garments, or braces. Custom orthotics are $525, this includes the price of the assessment fee as part of designing and dispensing the orthotics. Any other items are an additional cost to the assessment fee. Half of an item's value is taken as a down payment at the time of order. Please remember to bring up to three pairs of commonly worn shoes, including work shoes, to your appointment. The Pedorthist will fit the finished custom orthotics into your footwear and ensure that they are functioning correctly. Please bring the up to three pairs of footwear that you would like the orthotics to be worn in to this appointment. Pricing: The shown cost of this appointment is based on the default remaining cost due on a pair of orthotics after down-payment. If you have made special arrangements with the clinic the cost may differ. This will have been discussed with you during your assessment.
