James’ massage therapy journey began in the UK, where he completed a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science. With a strong foundation in human anatomy and movement, he initially specialized in sports massage and quickly developed a passion for integrating evidence-based techniques with hands-on care.
Since then, James has worked with a diverse range of clients—from elite athletes to individuals recovering from injury—always focusing on personalized treatments that promote movement, reduce pain, and support long-term wellness.
In 2017, James followed his love for the mountains and made the move to Canada. After several years in Whistler, he earned his RMT certification from Langara College in Vancouver. Now proud to call Pemberton home, James is happy to be part of the Pemberton Physiotherapy and Wellness team.
James takes a grounded and personalized approach to massage therapy, combining clinical knowledge with intuitive, hands-on care. He focuses on improving mobility, reducing discomfort, and helping clients understand their bodies better. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, managing ongoing tension, or aiming to enhance your overall movement and well-being, James is committed to supporting your journey every step of the way.
