Nicholas was born and raised in Hamilton. Growing up as a hockey player in the area, he became passionate about rehabilitation and performance early in his career, looking for ways to stay healthy and gain a competitive advantage. Nick played junior hockey all over Ontario and Canada including a year on the east coast in Sydney, Nova Scotia where he played for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in the QMJHL. After moving back home he pursued his education at Brock university while continuing to play junior hockey for the St. Catharines Falcons. When Nick is not at the clinic, he likes to spend his free time playing golf in the summer and snowboarding in the winter with resistance training mixed throughout.
Nick earned his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2022. Prior to that, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Brock University during which he volunteered in the sports performance program in strength and conditioning, working with the varsity Women’s Basketball and Volleyball teams. Nick also worked at a local Hamilton gym for over 5 years with everyone from professional hockey players and collegiate athletes of various sports to the general population to help them achieve their lifestyle and performance goals.
Now with his Physical Therapy degree and years of athletic development Nick combines all his experience and passion to help those of all ages and abilities achieve their goals. As a practitioner, Nick believes exercise and education are integral to a successful rehab and uses manual therapy and soft tissue techniques to supplement his approach.
