Rob Farquharson completed his osteopathic manual practitioner training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is registered with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. Furthermore, he received his post graduate certificate in Exercise Science from Niagara College and is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.
Rob's passion for Osteopathy began as a patient recovering from persistent lower leg injuries following an Achilles rupture. This experience gave him firsthand insight into the intricacies of Osteopathy and its impact on recovery. Combined with his background in athletics and personal training and desire to be a physical therapist, osteopathy sparked his interest and shortly afterward he became a student at the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
As an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Rob enjoys treating people of all ages and a wide range of conditions. He enjoys the challenge of helping patients determine the root cause of their pain and dysfunction and guiding people toward better health.

Your first visit to our osteopath will include a comprehensive assessment to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and specific concerns. We take the time to evaluate your movement, posture, and any areas of discomfort to create a personalized treatment plan. During the treatment, our osteopath will use hands-on techniques to release tension, improve circulation, and restore optimal function. Sessions are typically gentle yet effective, with a focus on long-term health and preventing future discomfort. At Elit Care, we prioritize patient education and empowerment. Along with treatment, you’ll receive guidance on exercises, posture correction, and lifestyle adjustments to support your recovery and well-being.
