Varsity Athlete, Physiotherapist and Green Tea enthusiast Spencer is the newest member of Health HUB. A Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario make Spencer well equipped to tackle any injury that may present. Spencer has a particular interest in working with sports injuries and chronic/complex pain. Spencer observes the human body through the lens of functional movement, paying special attention to how your nervous system and musculoskeletal system interact.
Spencer has continued to shape his understanding of human movement and health by taking post-graduate courses Myofascial release, functional dry needling and manual therapy level 1. Expect a thorough assessment, manual therapy and information that will help you to understand how to better yourself.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (EST) is a form of Physiotherapy that uses soundwaves to stimulate healing in the musculoskeletal system. It is used to treat pain without the need for painkillers or surgery. For Bioped patients we are offering 3 Shockwave appointments for a total of $129. Your initial assessment and treatment should take about 30 minutes and the 2 subsequent visits are approximately 15 minutes in duration.

Pneumatic Compression is a form of Physiotherapy that uses compression to stimulate manual lymphatic drainage. It is used to treat swelling and aid in recovery from training. We are offering 3 compression therapy appointments for $129. Your initial assessment and treatment should take about 30 minutes and the 2 subsequent visits are approximately 30 minutes in duration.
This is a subsequent Pneumatic Compression Therapy appointment, it will take between 15-45 Minutes.
