My name is Emiko Galpin and I am a registered massage therapist and graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2022. I am interested in women’s health and oncology treatment, especially in the breast cancer treatment.
I have completed the three levels of Mastectomy Guide by Erin Price in 2023 to build knowledge of mastectomy surgeries, possible symptoms and treatments. Throughout the course, I found the importance of lymphatic drainage technique.
Recently, I completed an advanced Level 3 lymphedema/chronic edema management training with certification in the Dr. Vodder method of Manual lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT), offered by the internationally recognized Dr. Vodder School. The program is included pathology instruction and examination with a medial/lymphologist instructor.
CDT enables me to manage patients with lymphedema and chronic edema, using combination on Manual Lymph Drainage, exercise therapy, compression bandaging and skin care. This allows advanced care of patients with lymphedema, whether from surgery, radiation or congenital malformation. Suitable venous edemas, lipedema and other types of chronic edema may also be managed successfully with these techniques.
MLD also has a pain-relieving effect and can be used with recent trauma. It is a gentle, rhythmic movement, therefore, patients find the technique soothing and relaxing with no side effects.
I am accepting new patients. My availability in Fort Langley on Fridays and every other Sundays. If patients are interested in intensive treatment as out patients, I can manage the schedule as needed.

This treatment is for returning patient only. Lymphedema massage therapy aids to alleviate symptoms associated with Lymphedema, such as swelling, discomfort, limited range of motion, and tightness in the affected area. It focuses on promoting lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and improve circulation. This is a 60 minutes Lymphedema Massage Therapy which includes assessment and treatment. All taxes are included in price.

It focuses on promoting lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and improve circulation. Symptoms vary depending on the individual and the severity of the condition. This is a 75 minute initial Lymphedema Massage Therapy visit which includes assessment and treatment. All taxed are included in the price.
