**Kat and her husband moved to the Comox Valley four years ago**, after many years in Victoria. They both feel very fortunate to live in the Comox Valley where they can lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
**Kat received her certification at the British Esthetics & Body Work School in Victoria.** She then had the opportunity to go to France and Germany to study how esthetics & wellness go hand in hand. This approach made so much more sense to Kat; that esthetics is not only on the ‘outside’, and that the ‘inside’ matters in every treatment.
**After 10 years of owning and operating her own spa within a Victoria hotel,** Kat was able to sell the business and began consulting for spa development in other hotels. That job took her internationally and she was able to learn many wellness cultures, product lines and expand her own hands-on craft.
**Kat worked for one year doing esthetics in a local Resort Spa,** and is now pleased to join the very talented and experienced team at Sereia Day Spa.
**When Kat is not working,** she and her husband spend time discovering the Comox Valley or cuddling with Tessie the cat, and watching a good movie. They have relatives all over Vancouver Island, and enjoy being able to connect with family for good food and much laughter.
