Astra became a Registered Massage Therapist to help people overcome the stresses of the daily grind. She believes that massage therapy plays a huge role in preventative medicine, and in helping to restore the body to peak physical function and optimal health.
Through soft tissue manipulation, trigger point release and deep tissue Swedish massage, Astra works hard to provide a comprehensive, well rounded, client focused, safe and effective treatment specific to each individual.
Astra is a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as well as the Registered Massage Therapist’s Association of Ontario. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.

The entire hour is spent on the feet, but this is not a foot massage. Gentle pressure is used to manipulate points on the feet that correspond to other areas of the body. We will end the treatment with about 10 minutes of targeted foot massage. Please see the FAQ section on our website for a more in depth explanation. Reflexology is considered to be within the scope of practice of RMT's, which means that if your session is with an RMT (as it would be at Rosehill), your insurance company will allow you to claim the hour under your massage coverage.
Neck & shoulders, hands and feet, face and scalp. Bliss. This hour is dedicated to all those areas of the body that suffer when we're stressed out, but that never get quite enough attention. It's super good for headache sufferers, or anyone who really needs to just chill for a minute. We'll focus on commonly under-treated areas, including your face, jaw and scalp, your neck & shoulders, arms, hands, upper chest, and feet.
