Kim Umphrey has been an RMT since 2009. She has experience treating clients with neurodiversity, sensory processing challenges, hypermobility, and inflammatory conditions. She also has experience with pregnancy related issues, accidents, and injuries. She works with her clients to find effective and realistic solutions that fit easily into her client's daily lives.
Myo-fascial techniques, sports massage, kinesio-taping and dynamic cupping are all areas that she has studied, along with high level training in prenatal massage, including massage for higher-risk pregnancies, infant massage, and training as a labour support provider (doula). Her style is like a slow, precise steam roller, and she believes in working with the body, not forcing things.
Kim is not only a massage therapist, but also a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant Professional, as well. She is currently offering nutrition assessments, as well as wellness coaching and educational workshops.
