Leena Elizabeth Kuriakose is a compassionate and dedicated physiotherapist with over 12 years of clinical experience helping individuals restore movement, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. She provides personalized, evidence-based care for patients of all ages and abilities, with expertise in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Neurology, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Pain Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Comprehensive Rehabilitation.
Leena earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Kerala University of Health Sciences in 2012 and has continued to expand her clinical expertise through advanced training and professional development. She has completed postgraduate training in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) of lumbar spine through the McKenzie Institute of Canada, along with certifications in Soft Tissue Release (STR), Introductory and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, Sports Taping and Strapping, and Non-Internal Treatment Considerations for the Pregnant and Postpartum Population.
She has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, dizziness, vertigo, balance disorders and pregnancy- and postpartum-related conditions. Her advanced training allows her to identify the root cause of symptoms and develop individualized treatment plans that focus on long-term recovery and improved quality of life.
Leena believes that successful rehabilitation goes beyond treating symptoms. She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach that combines hands-on therapy, targeted exercise programs, education, and active patient involvement. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and confidence they need to achieve lasting results and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle.
Throughout her career, Leena has worked in private practice, long-term care, community outreach programs, and as a team physiotherapist for sporting events. These diverse experiences have enabled her to successfully treat a wide range of conditions across all stages of life.
