Shivani Sukhdeo is a dedicated Chiropodist (Foot Specialist) with extensive training in the management of various foot disorders. Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of services, from routine foot care to advanced podiatric procedures, including soft tissue surgery. Her areas of expertise also include diabetic foot screening, wound care, foot injections, mobilization therapy, and the provision of custom orthotics.
Shivani earned her medical degree in her home country before pursuing further education in Podiatric Medicine at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences in Toronto,
Shivani is committed to enhancing the quality of healthcare services and actively engages in ongoing professional development post-graduation.
She has completed the "Improving Quality and Safety in Healthcare" program at Harvard University, which has significantly informed her approach to staff training, patient education, and safety protocols.
In addition to her training at the Michener Institute in the field of Podiatric Medicine, Shivani has deepened her expertise in mobilization therapy, recognizing it as an effective method for alleviating patient discomfort.
She completed a Master’s degree in Wound Healing at Western University and implements her knowledge in a comprehensive diabetic preventative foot care program.
