Stephanie completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia. She is a registered kinesiologist in good standing with the BC association of Kinesiologists.
Stephanie has experience working with children as a sports coach and life skills worker. She also works in long term care running exercise groups.
Stephanie has been a part of organized team sports since high school. She has first hand experience with sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Her passion is in providing people with access to the benefits of exercise. People are often told to exercise by their doctors or they just know exercise is good for their health but not know how to tap into those healthy benefits. She is also passionate about the connection between mental health and exercise, and how exercise can be medicine for the brain.
During her free time, Stephanie will be outdoors with her kids, or playing all sorts of sports like volleyball, dodgeball, ultimate or biking. On rainy days, She will be crafting away exercising those creative juices.
