Ideal for practitioners and people who use their arms, A LOT. Note: needles and cupping may also be used during this treatment.

A traditional therapy where heated glass cups are placed on the skin to create a suction by briefly heating the inside of the cup with a flame, which removes oxygen before placing it onto the skin. As the air inside of the cup cools, a suction is created drawing blood close to the skin surface. This treatment is used to stimulate blood flow, relieve muscle tension, and promote healing in the treated area. Often used to address pain in muscles and joints, back and neck as well as headaches by decreasing tension and increasing circulation to the area. An added bonus, it promotes relaxation. Note: visible circular marks are often left on the skin after treatment that may take 1-10 days to fade away. Mild bruising, redness and some local tenderness may be present as well.
