**Traci-Ann Yacoub, M.OMSc.**, is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner based in Burlington, Ontario, offering personalized, holistic care rooted in logic and anatomical understanding. A wife and mother of two, she values balance in both life and wellness.
Traci-Ann studied at the **Canadian Academy of Osteopathy**, completing a rigorous four-year, principles-based program. Her passion for osteopathy began when she personally experienced the powerful effects of osteopathic treatment, resolving issues in her body that other therapies had not been able to. This transformation inspired her to dive deep into the anatomy and mechanisms behind osteopathic treatment to help others heal.
In addition to her practice, Traci-Ann has been a fitness instructor since 2011, specializing in strength training and Zumba. She takes pride in making fitness accessible and empowering for all, fostering a welcoming environment and strong mind-body connection in her classes. In 2022, she was awarded the Burlington Post’s **Diamond Award for Best Zumba Instructor**.
Growing up as a dancer (tap, jazz, ballet and ballroom) and part of a watersports family (waterskiing and wakeboarding), she developed a love for active living. Outside of her work, she enjoys family time, daily movement, and personal growth through reading.
**What is Osteopathy?**
Osteopathy is a hands-on, holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on how the **body’s structure impacts its function**. Using techniques like myofascial release, neuromuscular energy, and ligamentous articulation, osteopathic practitioners **aim to restore mobility and balance across all layers of tissue**—fascia, muscles, joints, nerves, and organs and their associated connective tissue. Unlike symptom-focused therapies, **osteopathy addresses the root causes of dysfunction** by considering the body as an interconnected whole. **Treatments are gentle, individualized, and support the body’s natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate.**
**Curious to learn more or ready to feel better?**
Whether you're dealing with pain, recovering from an injury, managing a condition or just want to feel more at ease in your body, Traci-Ann is here to help.
